Give your dad a Father’s Day experience unlike any other! If you are looking for something a little different to treat dad this year, then why not book an Introduction to Archery session taking place in Thaxted on Sunday 15th June 2025.
The graceful and noble sport of archery has been practiced for thousands of years. Key to survival for our ancestors, it has developed to become a highly-skilled and technical event.
We have set up an archery range in the beautiful Thaxted Conservation Gardens for these introduction to archery sessions. No previous experience necessary. Our qualified instructors will cover safety and technique at a pace to suit the learner and by the end of the session the arrows will be flying true! Each session is limited to a maximum of eight participants, so everyone will have time and attention to develop their skills.
All equipment will be provided, however participants will need to wear appropriate outdoor clothing for the activity.
Sessions must be booked at least 48 hours before the event (so we can manage numbers). Once booked, sessions are non-refundable.
